Stir contents before using.
FIRST COAT
Use a round edge trowel. Apply a thin layer of product and cover entire surface and then remove excess by tilting trowel to approximately 30°. Once excess has been removed, smooth surface using a 30° angle. Let it dry for 8 hours.

SECOND COAT
Use a round edge trowel. Apply a thin layer of product and cover entire surface and then remove excess by tilting trowel to approximately 30°. Once excess has been removed, smooth surface using a 30° angle. Let it dry for 8 hours.

BURNISH
Wait around 15 to 30 minutes before burnishing with the same trowel to achieve high gloss burnish. Let it dry for at least 24 hours before moving on to the burnish treatment. Apply VELLWAX and buff off evenly will add durability to the surface.

COVERAGE / THINNING
One gallon (3.78 L) 5KG covers up 60 – 80 sq. ft. on a smooth wall, significantly less on acoustical tile or rough surface. We do not recommend thinning down the plaster but if you wish to create other effect, thinning not more than 1 oz. (29.6ml) of water per 11 lbs (5KG) of plaster. One gallon (18 L) 25KG covers up 300 – 400 sq. ft. on a smooth wall, significantly less on acoustical tile or rough surface. We do not recommend thinning down the plaster but if you wish to create other effect, thinning not more than 5 oz. (148ml) of water per 55 lbs (25KG) of plaster.

DRYING TIME
Plaster only when surface and air temperatures are 50-90 °F (10-32 °C), wait 24 hours before recoating or applying MACOAVELL VELLWAX.

Stir contents before using.
FIRST COAT
Apply the plaster with a flexible steel trowel, apply a thin coat of plaster while holding the trowel at a 15- to
30-degree angle. Spread the plaster with varying lengths and angles of strokes. Clean off the trowel from
time to time to keep dried plaster from getting into your burnish. Let the plaster dry thoroughly before
applying the next coat.

SECOND COAT
Apply thin layer of plaster, use overlapping long and short strokes. Cover the surface thoroughly, filling voids
and removing high spots. Let the plaster dry for at least 24 hours before moving on to the burnish treatment.
Apply VELLWAX and buff off evenly will add durability to the surface.

COVERAGE / THINNING
Five kilogram (11 Lbs) covers up 60 – 80 sq. ft. on a smooth wall, significantly less on acoustical tile or rough
surface. We do not recommend thinning down the plaster but if you wish to create other effect, thinning not
more than 1 oz. (29.6ml mL) of water per 11 Lbs (5 kg) of plaster.
Five kilogram (55 Lbs) covers up 300 – 400 sq. ft. on a smooth wall, significantly less on acoustical tile or
rough surface. We do not recommend thinning down the plaster but if you wish to create other effect,
thinning not more than 5 oz. (148ml) of water per 55 Lbs (25 kg) of plaster.

DRYING TIME
Plaster only when surface and air temperatures are 50-90 °F (10-32 °C), wait 24 hours before recoating or
applying MACOAVELL VELLWAX.

Stir contents before using.
FIRST COAT
Apply VELLCCO (about 1mm thickness ) with a flexible steel trowel, spread evenly throughout the wall. Let it dry throughly before applying the next coat.

SECOND COAT
Same application as the first coat.

BURNISH
Burnish the wall to smoothen out when the second coat is semi dry. Spray some water if needed during burnishing. Let it dry for at least 24 hours before moving on to the burnish treatment. Apply VELLWAX and buff off evenly will add durability to the surface.

COVERAGE / THINNING
5KG covers up 35-50 sq. ft. We do not recommend thinning down the plaster. but if you wish to create other effect, thinning not more than 1 oz. (29.6ml) of water per 11 Lbs (5 kg) of plaster. 25KG covers up 175-250 sq. ft. We do not recommend thinning down the plaster. but if you wish to create other effect, thinning not more than 5 oz. (148ml) of water per 55 Lbs (25 kg) of plaster.

SPRAY TEXTURE COATING
Spray VELLCCO (about 1.5mm) with a air spray gun, burnish the wall to smoothen out when semi dry. Spray some water if needed during burnishing. Let it dry for at least 24 hours before moving on to the burnish treatment. Apply VELLWAX and buff off evenly will add durability to the surface.

DRYING TIME
Plaster only when surface and air temperatures are 50-90 °F (10-32 °C), wait 24 hours before recoating or applying MACOAVELL VELLWAX.

Can be apply with soft cloth, sponges or trowel, rub off excess wax. Initially applies to an opaque ffnish, but can be buffed with soft cloth to increase the sheen. Buff off access wax with cloth or polish machine. Two tone metallic wax can be apply to plaster wall to achieve multicolor design. Apply Macoavell Vellwax clear wax after 24 hours to seal and protect.

“Crack resistance: Lime is more flexible compared with Portland cement, thus it reduced cracking with lime plaster.
Breathable
Mold-resistant: due to its high pH, lime is a natural biocide.”

Vellma and Vellplas is for interior only while Vellcco can be use for both interior & exterior. If use at exterior, it is best to seal with VELLWAX or a sealer.

Vellplas and Vellcco is more DIY friendly, wheras Vellma might need some training or skill especially on the burnish part.

“If cracks occur, it might because of few causes:
1. internal wall cracks – if the internal wall cracks, it will definitely affect plaster layer to cracks.
2. Too thick – it is apply too thick
3. Drying time – if it was force to dry by blowing or cause by weather too hot. Plaster should give time to dry in a natural way.”

Peeling normally will appear if surface preparation is not done properly, wall is too powdery or moist. Make sure wall is properly prepared before applying MacoAvell products.

“The wall must be level 4 or 5 before applying Vellma, if there are imperfections on the walls, it must be repaired before applying Vellma.
Burnishing at the right time before the burnish coating dry is critical, remember not to over burnish to prevent peeling.
Using a proper round edged trowel is another great way to maximize the shine.
Polishing using Vellwax will increase the shines.”

Vellma, Vellplas and Vellcco in its natural form is not waterproof, you can apply Vellwax or sealants to make it water resistant but it will never be totally waterproof.

Use a soft cloth with warm water and apply some mild liquid dish detergent in the center. Lightly buff it over the stains. Remove soap residue with another damp cloth if necessary.
